വഴിയാത്രക്കാരന്‍ കാറിടിച്ച് മരിച്ചു

മഞ്ചേശ്വരം: വഴിയാത്രക്കാരനായ മധ്യവയസ്‌ക്കന്‍ കാറിടിച്ച് മരിച്ചു. മഞ്ചേശ്വരം മൊര്‍ത്തണ പാടയിലെ ചന്ദ്രനാണ്(55) മരിച്ചത്. ശനിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി 11 മണിയോടെ മൊര്‍ത്തണ ജംഗ്ഷനിലായിരുന്നു അപകടം. മംഗലാപുരത്തെ ബുക് സ്റ്റാളില്‍ ജീവനക്കാരനായിരുന്നു.

ജോലികഴിഞ്ഞ് വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോകാന്‍ റോഡരികിലൂടെ നടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അമിത വേഗതയില്‍ വന്ന കാര്‍ ചന്ദ്രനെ ഇടിച്ചു തെറിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം നിര്‍ത്താതെ ഓടിച്ചു പോവുകയായിരുന്നു. ചന്ദ്രന്‍ അപകടസ്ഥലത്തു തന്നെ മരിച്ചു. മഞ്ചേശ്വരം പോലീസ് ഇന്‍ക്വസ്റ്റു നടത്തിയ മൃതദേഹം പോസ്റ്റുമോര്‍ട്ടത്തിനായി കാസര്‍കോട് ജനറല്‍ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
