കാസർകോട്: (KasargodVartha) നഗരത്തിൽ വൻ ലഹരി വേട്ട. 25.9 ഗ്രാം എംഡിഎംഎ യുമായി യുവാവ് പിടിയിലായി. കാസർകോട് പഴയ ബസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡ് പരിസരത്ത് തെരുവിൽ പഴക്കച്ചവടക്കാരനായ മഞ്ചേശ്വരം പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ പരിധിയിലെ ബി എ മുഹമ്മദ് ശമീർ (28) ആണ് അറസ്റ്റിലായത്.

ഉപ്പളയിൽ നിന്നും കാസർകോട് ടൗണിലേക്ക് കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ബസിൽ കടത്തി കൊണ്ട് വന്ന ലഹരി വസ്തുക്കളാണ് പിടികൂടിയതെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.

ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവി ഡി ശിൽപയുടെ നിർദേശപ്രകാരം, ഡാൻസാഫിന്റെ ചുമതലയുള്ള ഡിവൈഎസ്പി ടി ഉത്തംദാസിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ജില്ലാ ഡാൻസാഫ് സംഘം, എസ്ഐ നാരായണൻ, രാജേഷ്, സജേഷ്, കാസർകോട് സബ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ പ്രതീഷ് കുമാർ, ചന്ദ്രശേഖരൻ, ലിനീഷ്, സനീഷ് എന്നിവറാണ ലഹരിമരുന്ന് വേട്ട നടത്തിയത്.
